+25 years teaching

Architect and designer. I have dedicated much of my life to teaching, sharing and exploring. I believe that it is urgent to work on our relationship with the environment in a creative and consistent way according to the challenges we have to face (climate, energy, resources, social crisis...etc.)

Ekkoabit is a letter to the future, a proposition that explores other relationships with our habitats and nature by introducing a positive and emotional approach in the education and conception of our environment.

Architect by the Faculty of Architecture of the UNAM in Mexico City. (with honors) and from ETSAB, Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Barcelona. Master in History of Architecture and PhD courses at ETSAB, Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Barcelona.

Professor of Design,Theory and History of Architecture at UNAM.

Professor of Space Design at ELISAVA, Escuela Superior de Diseño e Ingeniería de Barcelona for more than 20 years, Coordinator of second cycle studies (2001-2004), Head of Project Area (2005) and head of Space Design (2006) in the Higher Graduate Degree in Design.

Invited to give courses and lectures in: Postgraduate in Interior Architecture, UNAM (2001), UPC Barcelona (2007), Colegio de Aparejadores y Arquitectos Técnicos de Barcelona (2004-2008), Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (1986,1998, 1995, 2015 and 2024), Gengdan Institute of Design, Technological Institute Beijing, China (2018-24), 869 Hangzhou Art Center, China (2024), Nanhai Academy of Art, Haikou, China (2024).

Invited to participate in numerous international workshops: L'École de Design Nantes, France (2016-2022), Oslo Akershus University (2017), Bangalore Cumulus, Srishti Institut of Design (2017), Cafa Cumulus, Beijing (2023), etc.
